It is recommend to arrive 60 to 90 minutes prior to showtime to check in and participate in our pre-show festivities such as visiting the marketplace and armory or ordering a cocktail. Audience members may be randomly selected for the main show, so be sure to arrive as early as possible for your chance to take part in this adventure. Gift Shop
Make sure to take a peek at the gift shop while you wait for the adventure to begin. The shop sells a variety of pirate-themed souvenirs such as:
model ships
treasure boxes
mermaids
wall plaques
magnets
and glassware
The Entertaiment Hall
The main show area is quite impressive with multiple levels of seats surrounding the show area. The seating style are benches with backs and about six people fit to a table. A huge replica ship sits in the middle of the room to act as a stage. The 18th-century Spanish galleon features 40-foot masts, ropes, and platforms, all while sitting anchored in a 300,000-gallon indoor lagoon.
We will say it seems that seat location can make a difference with this set up. While you can see action from all around, some seats may be slightly blocked by ropes and platforms. We noticed being off to the side we didn’t see the opening projection straight on. So if a good view is top priority to you, you may want to consider premium seating options.
Drinks at Pirates Dinner Adventure

Appetizer Upgrades
While waiting for the show to begin there is an opportunity to enjoy some additional appetizers. There are individual items as well as platters available for an upcharge.
Chicken Tenders and Wings
Calamari
Cheese Sticks
Fries and Onion Rings
Chips and Guac
Before the show we enjoyed some wings, cheese sticks, and meat balls. These were all good standard bites, similar to what you would enjoy at a restaurant or on party platters.
Unlimited Soft Drinks
Complimentary soft drinks and coffee are served during the main show. Included with your admission. Choices included:
Pepsi
Diet Pepsi
Sierra Mist
Water
Our server brought a huge pitcher of soda so we never had to ask for a refill. One comment here is it would have been nice to have a non soda option such as ice tea in the mix too.
Starter Course
Salad
Caesar salad with croutons
The server placed a serving on everyone's plates and then added dressing. The salad was good, similar to kits we buy frequently from the store.
Main Course
At the time of booking, guests select a preferred main entree for each guest:
Captain’s Chicken Meal
Roasted 1/4 chicken, yukon gold potato purée, seasonal vegetable, served with a demi glaze sauce
This was one of the options we tried. The chicken was really good. The sides were good, pretty standard potatoes and a medley of what seemed like frozen veggies.
Pirate’s Pork Meal
Flame-kissed all natural Pork Loin, Yukon gold potato purée, seasonal vegetable, with garlic mushroom barre blanc sauce
We also tried this option. The pork was good and tender. It’s good to note there are mushrooms in the sauce (Julie enjoyed, but Andrew did not.) The sides were the same as above.
Doubloon Penne Pasta
Penne pasta, basil pesto with seasonal vegetables
Captain Kids Meal
Golden baked Chicken Nuggets served with Mac-n-Cheese
It’s good to note there are upgraded meal options available too such as steak, salmon, and lobster.
Dessert Course
Princess Anita’s Royal Dessert
Deliciously rich chocolate brownie topped with icing, sprinkles and and a drizzle of chocolate sauce
The dessert was a good choice to please most. It was a good little chocolate brownie, similar to what you would find at a grocer bakery.
About the Vampirates Show
We have not been to Pirates Dinner Adventure before, so we don’t know what the standard show is like. The night we attended was to see the seasonal option: Vampirates. Here is a synopsis:
You and your family are cordially invited to Treasure Bay for their annual Halloween Ball. This annual gala will be filled with celebration, games, songs and fun. But beware! Danger lurks just outside the safety of Treasure Bay. A ruthless crew of Vampirates, led by the dark soul of Captain Sebastian the Black, have set sail for Treasure Bay with one thing on their mind, The Solzana’s Eye. This necklace possesses magical powers beyond imagination, and in the hands of Captain Sebastian the Black, will allow him to escape the curse of the night, and to sail the seas during the day, creating more destruction and spreading more fear. It is up to you, to join forces and defeat the crew of Vampirates, and bring peace back to Treasure Bay.
The show hadst much going on. Sword fights. Acrobatics. Music. Romance. Even a Mermaid. We loved seeing pirates swinging on ropes and going above our heads across walkways. There were even effects like storms and special lighting. There was a mix of modern music from time to time and jokes to make the audience laugh. It also seems like Pirate Dinner Adventure leans heavy into audience participation whether cheering along or getting selected to be on stage. It was cool to see little kids getting so excited to be pulled into the action. The one thing we can say while we enjoyed all of the performances, we did get a little lost on what was going on in the story. But the entertainers were very talented and it was cool to see a lot of tricks.
Final Thoughts
We are big fans of trying something new and fun, outside of the typical dinner and movie kind of night. Pirates Dinner Adventure was a pretty fun way to spend a night out. We could see this being a fun excuse for a date night, a birthday, or a group celebration. We enjoyed all the theming and the stage set up was very impressive. It was cool to see all of the variety in the performance and the actors were very talented. We aren’t sure what the normal show is like but have to say the Vampirates makeup was really neat. We will say the food is pretty standard. We found it pretty on par with a large hotel convention meal. We could see an opportunity here to do something a little more themed. Some Caribbean themed side dishes could be really cool, or a more inventive dessert, or even a nice piece of bread with the meal would have been a nice touch. With that being said this whole experience is about more than just food and the value seems very fair with that much food, drink, and a show. Especially if you check out any of their special offers too! We would definitely consider coming back for some more pirate themed adventures!
