Many people ask us what is our favorite restaurant on Disney property and the truth is there are so many that we love it can be hard to pick just one. But today we wanted to write about one of our favorites that we think is a perfect spot for a special date night out. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, one of our favorite resorts, you can find Narcoossee’s. This casual elegance restaurant features coastal cuisine dishes. We recently dined here on Christmas Eve, read on for a full review from that night…
This article is also a part of the Disney Friends Blog Hop. Since it is February the theme for this month is “Love”. While we chose to write about a great date night, make sure to check out the bottom of this article to see more great Disney articles on this topic!
About Narcoossee’s
Location
Narcoossee’s is located at the Grand Floridian but is not in the main building. You must walk through the grounds towards where the resort boats dock. Here you will find the octagonal building that offers panoramic views of the Seven Seas lagoon. (On our latest visit we lucked out with a window seat that was a perfect spot to see the Electrical Water Pageant pass by.)
Style
The waterfront hideaway feels part Victorian Gazebo, part New England beach house. You will find plenty of white wood trim and open beach shutters. The ambiance feels more beachy relaxed than stuffy. The decor is quite simple, while royal blue tablecloths give a pop of nautical color.
Price
Narcoossee’s is one of Disney’s finer dining options, the prices will reflect that. Please note, if using the Disney Dining Plan, this is a signature dining restaurant that requires 2 Table-Service meal credits per guest. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.
Dress Code
Guests are asked to adhere to the suggested dress code at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements:
Men’s suggested dress is khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Jackets are optional.
Women’s suggested dress is capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.
Not permitted in the dining room are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and T-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics

We have been to Narcoossee’s on many occasions simply to grab some beverages at the bar. This place has a huge assortment of drinks on the menu. There are plenty of wines (ranging from affordable to very expensive), beers, specialty cocktails, and a great selection of spirits. (You can view the drink menus below and click to enlarge.)

Instead of dessert Julie opted for this drink instead, always a yummy and strong way to end the night.

Dark Chocolate-Mocha Bar with House-made Guanaja Chocolate Gelato
Andrew opted for this signature dessert and was in chocolate heaven.
The Service
Usually you find some of the best servers at a signature dining restaurant, and Narcoossee’s was no exception. Our server was Ryan from Ft. Lauderdale and he was excellent. Even though it was Christmas Eve and busy he was friendly, attentive, and helpful with all of our choices. We never felt rushed and were well taken care of.
Final Thoughts
This special date night ended up being so memorable. While Narcoossee’s is pricey and not something we do all of the time, once in awhile it is so worth it to spend a nice night together. From a great table for two with a view, top-notch service, and delicious food and drinks we were certainly feeling the love on Disney property that night. We hope to be able to head back soon!
